Meet our Pastors

Michael Faulkner

Senior Pastor

Michael formerly served as the Pastor of Discipleship for New Life Church in New Bern and Principal for New Bern Christian Academy.  He has earned a B.A. in Bible and Pastor Theology, M.S. in Education Administration, and an Ed.D. (ABD) from Southeastern Seminary in Leadership with a concentration in Discipleship.  Michael and Meagan were married on April 15th, 2017.  Meagan earned her B.S. from Southeastern in Music Education and has served through music since childhood.  Michael and Meagan currently have four beautiful girls- Melody, Violet, Evelyn, and Scarlett; with Makenna Rose due soon.  Michael and Meagan are passionate about serving God through music, Discipleship, and ministry of the word.  

Garner Church called Michael to Pastor in March 2022.  The church began to grow back through faithful preaching and restarting many ministries that hadn’t resumed since COVID.  Through this time, he has been recognized in our denomination to serve at the National Convention, NC State Convention, State CTS Competition, and Randall Association.    

Cutler Harris

Associate Pastor

Cutler is a 2017 Graduate of Southeastern College with a B.A. in Bible and Pastoral Ministries. Cutler previously served at Grifton FWB Church and Union Chapel FWB Church. Over the past five years, God has led them to serve in the Raleigh area through Christian Education while serving their local church. Cutler is married to his wife, Emily, and they have three beautiful children: Cooper, Skyler, and Bellamy.  

Garner Church called Cutler as part-time youth pastor in 2023, and made full-time associate in 2024.  He has already restored our teen program and begun helping our kids.
